Labisia 'Turtle Back'

Description

Diameter: 8 cm

Labisia 'Turtle Back' belongs to the Primulaceae family and is native to the rainforests of Southeast Asia.

It is an absolute collector's rarity, famous for its hypnotic and strongly three-dimensional foliage: light green and silvery veins stand out against a very dark, almost black leaf blade, creating a raised geometric pattern that faithfully resembles a turtle shell.

The thick, leathery leaves have an unmistakable tactile and visual relief, offering an incredible three-dimensional effect. What makes the Labisia Turtle Back unique and distinctive is the sharp chromatic contrast between the light, luminescent veins and the dark background.

It prefers bright, indirect light and a well-draining, light substrate capable of ensuring a good level of humidity. Its love for humidity makes it an undisputed queen for setups in terrariums, paludariums, and greenhouse cabinets.
