Hoya nicholsoniae 'New Guinea Ghost' belongs to the Apocynaceae family and is native to Papua New Guinea.
It is a rare and highly sought-after Hoya variety. This stunning epiphyte is distinguished by its elongated leaves, which are entirely covered in a silvery patina that gives it a "ghostly" (hence the name Ghost) and almost luminescent appearance: the mint-green leaves are infused with a brilliant silver that reflects light, creating a unique visual effect.
The magic of "sun-stressing": when exposed to more intense light levels, the Hoya New Guinea Ghost reacts by tinting the margins of its leaves with purplish and pinkish shades.
It prefers bright, indirect light and a well-draining, light substrate.
