Hoya belongs to the Apocynaceae family and is native to India and southern China.
The "Rosita" variety is a hybrid (Hoya Wayetii X Hoya Tsangii) and has elongated, thin, dark green leaves with burgundy edges.
What makes Hoya unique are its inflorescences, with "waxy" flowers that are highly fragrant and incredibly colorful. The most important factor for encouraging flowering is light. Hoya indeed requires good indirect exposure.
They prefer well-draining soil.
