Hoya belongs to the Apocynaceae family and is native to India and Southern China.
The "Curtisii" variety has rounded, pointed leaves with a unique "teardrop" shape, dark green with silvery variegation.
What also makes Hoyas unique are their inflorescences, with flowers described as "waxen," highly fragrant, and with incredible colors. The most important factor for encouraging flowering is light. Hoyas indeed require good indirect exposure.
They prefer a well-draining substrate.
