Tillandsia belongs to the Bromeliaceae family and is native to Mexico and Central America.
Tillandsia is an epiphytic plant and can be grown using a scenic support (rafts, tiles, logs). Tillandsias are known as "air plants". Their cultivation does not require the use of substrate.
It should be watered by immersion or by misting.
It thrives in excellent indirect light exposure.
