Diameter: 16 cm
Stapelia Gigantea belongs to the Apocynaceae family and is native to southern Africa.
It has upright, fleshy, light green stems that feel slightly velvety to the touch, characterized by their four-sided shape.
When the flowering season arrives, the Stapelia Gigantea puts on its greatest show: enormous star-shaped flowers (which can exceed 30 cm in diameter) with cream or straw-yellow petals, densely decorated with elegant reddish-brown lines and edged with soft fuzz.
It prefers intense indirect light and a well-draining, lightweight growing medium, which should be watered when it is completely dry.
