DESCRIPTION

The Philodendron “El Choco Red” belongs to the Araceae family and is native to the rainforests of Colombia and Ecuador.
It has heart-shaped, velvety leaves with a wonderful and unique coloration: the upper surface is reddish-brown, with fluorescent green veins. The underside of the leaf is also reddish, with clearly visible contrasting veins.
As it grows, its leaves reach considerable dimensions, with an overall height of up to 60 cm.
It prefers indirect bright light and a well-draining, light substrate. It loves humidity. It prefers to climb a support pole, which will significantly increase the size of its leaves.
