It belongs to the Araceae family and comes from the tropical rainforests of Central America, South America and the West Indies.
Its peculiarity lies in the deep cuts on its leaves. It can be grown as a hanging or climbing plant: if provided with a support stake, the leaves can reach large sizes.
It prefers indirect bright exposure and a well-draining and light substrate.
