Hoya Callistophylla belongs to the Apocynaceae family and is native to Asia.
It has large, pointed leaves of a light, vivid green. The leaves are traversed by striking, contrasting dark, almost black, veins.
In late spring, its "waxy" bloom is spectacular, with very fragrant flowers of incredible colors.
It prefers indirect, diffused light and a light, well-draining substrate. Among the most important factors for Hoya to bloom, light is an essential element.
Hoya respond very well to semi-hydroponic cultivation.
