Fittonia belongs to the Acanthaceae family and is native to South America.
The 'Purple Angel' variety has larger leaves than other Fittonia varieties. The broad, oval leaves have dense, vivid white veins. The unique feature of this variety is the pinkish-purple hue on its leaves, from which it gets its name (Purple Snow Anne).
It is a highly prized plant for the beauty and brilliant colors of its leaves.
It loves humidity, which is why it is perfect for terrariums.
Provide a well-draining substrate and keep it consistently moist, but never soggy. It prefers bright, indirect light.
