Ceropegia belongs to the Apocynaceae family and is native to Southern Africa.
Ceropegia woodii 'Variegata', also known as Ceropegia 'String of hearts' Variegata, has characteristic thick, fleshy heart-shaped leaves. It is distinguished from Ceropegia “String of spades” whose leaves are characterized by a more elongated, spade-like shape.
The 'Variegata' variety has pink and cream variegation.
It prefers very bright exposure and a well-draining, light substrate.
