DESCRIPTION
The Calathea & Maranta mix is an extremely well-draining and light substrate, consisting of:
- Coarse coconut fraction (coconut chips) and fine coconut fraction
- Perlite
- Vermiculite
It is designed for Marantaceae (Calathea, Maranta, Stromanthe), which love humidity and a substrate that is always moist but never soggy, thus avoiding the risk of rot. At the same time, it is an airy and light substrate that does not create waterlogging, as Marantaceae are particularly sensitive.
