It is among the rarest and most fascinating Begonias, thanks to its iridescent foliage. The dark bronze leaves are able to produce an iridescent blue coloration due to the light hitting its canopy.
The underside of the leaves is a brilliant deep red.
Begonias love humidity, making them perfect for cultivation inside a terrarium.
Begonia Pavonina prefers bright indirect light, a good level of humidity, and a well-draining, light substrate.
