Begonia 'Kimby' belongs to the Begoniaceae family and is native to South America.
It has unique leaves with a deeply palmate-lobed or star-shaped structure, divided into narrow, elongated, and asymmetrical lobes, with toothed or serrated margins that give them a jagged and feathered profile.
The upper surface is a medium-dark olive green, dotted with irregular silvery-metallic spots and stripes that follow the course of the main veins. The underside and the slender leaf petioles show burgundy-purple hues.
It prefers bright, indirect exposure and a well-draining, light substrate.
