DESCRIPTION
The mix for Alocasias is an extremely draining and light substrate, consisting of sphagnum moss, coco chips, and perlite.
It is designed for Alocasias, rhizomatous plants that are extremely sensitive to waterlogging. They require a substrate that is always moist but never soggy, and at the same time an airy and light substrate that does not create waterlogging and does not compact, especially around the rhizome.
